On May 29, Levante-EMV brought together representatives from the business, academic, and institutional spheres for a forum focused on the main challenges and opportunities facing family businesses in the Valencian Community.

During the event, key issues related to their continuity and competitiveness were discussed, including the professionalization of management, generational succession, talent attraction, innovation, and the strengthening of governance bodies. Participants agreed on the importance of promoting a long-term vision that enables family businesses to successfully navigate an increasingly complex and changing environment.

Among the experts participating in the discussion was Alejandro Escribá, a member of the STEER team, Director of the Chair of Family Business at the University of Valencia, and researcher at Ivie. He shared his perspective on some of the main challenges currently facing Valencian family businesses.
