On May 21, 2026, a new seminar within the STEER research project was held, led by Dr. Nikolaos Kavadis (University of Lorraine), entitled “Who Shapes Strategic Leadership? Ownership, Institutional Context and TMT Adaptation under Performance Feedback”.

During the session, he examined how different types of owners influence the adaptation of top management teams (TMTs) in situations of below-aspiration performance. The seminar focused particularly on contexts characterized by high ownership concentration and a strong presence of family firms, highlighting how different institutional logics shape managerial capability adaptation and strategic leadership configurations.
