
Cristina Sanjuán Revert
Cristina Sanjuán Revert is a PhD candidate in the Business Management doctoral programme at the Universitat de València. Her research focuses on family businesses, with a particular interest in family business governance, professionalisation, strategic orientation, socioemotional priorities, and decision-making processes within these organisations.
She has extensive professional experience in business management, international expansion, commercial strategy, organisational transformation, and business development, mainly within the textile, fashion, and retail sectors. She has held leadership positions in family business contexts, participating in growth, internationalisation, organisational restructuring, commercial management, team development, and family governance processes.
She currently teaches at Universidad Europea in the Bachelor's Degrees in Business Administration and Marketing, delivering courses related to market research, market intelligence, distribution, and sales promotion. She also provides vocational training for employment through LABORA in the areas of marketing, commercial research, and international trade, particularly within the Level 3 Professional Certificate in Marketing and International Trade.
Cristina holds a Bachelor's Degree in German Philology from the Universitat de València, a postgraduate qualification in International Trade Management from ESIC Business & Marketing School, an MBA specialising in Sustainable Business Management from the Universidad Internacional de Valencia, and a Master's Degree in Fashion, Design Management and Operations from AITEX. She also holds pedagogical training through the CAP programme, complementary training in Montessori methodology for adolescents, and specialised education in family business through the Family Business Chair at the University of Valencia.
She has participated as an invited speaker in university training activities, including the masterclass “The Silent Compass: Leading with Wisdom – Five Keys to Managing in an Uncertain World” at the University of Valencia International University. In addition, she develops teaching materials, applied manuals, and educational resources aimed at fostering knowledge transfer between academia, business, and vocational training.
Throughout her career, she has received several academic and professional recognitions, including graduating with honours in ESIC’s Master's Degree in International Trade Management and receiving first prize in the MBA Bootcamp at the International University of Valencia. She is also the author of the book And Isabel: A Life of Dedication, Hard Work and Personal Growth.
