
Vicente Safón
Vicente Safón is Professor of Business Organization at the University of Valencia, where he received his PhD in 1996. His research focuses mainly on the analysis of the strategic decisions taken by companies and their consequences on financial and non-financial results, as well as on the role played by management teams in this relationship.
He also works on organizational reputation, especially in the field of education and science. The results of his research have been published in some of the leading journals in the fields of management, education and bibliometrics such as Academy of Management Learning and Education, Long Range Planning, International Business Review, Journal of Small Business Management, BRQ Business Research Quarterly, European Journal of International Management, International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction or Scientometrics. He has been principal investigator of projects of the National R&D Plan and of the Generalitat Valenciana.
