The paper entitled ‘Vergonzosos vs Instagrammers: how students are depending on when they hand in their exams’, by Jorge Villagrasa Guarch, Colin Donaldson and María Avenza Ivars, was awarded the Teaching Innovation prize at the VII AJICEDE 2024 congress at the University of Castellón.

The work analyses when students hand in their exams, whether this depends on their type of mindset (growth vs. fixed). It also explores whether there are significant differences between ‘good’ and ‘bad’ students, and whether a teacher or educational institution can influence this behaviour, or at least understand it better in order to adapt to their needs and manage it appropriately.
