Miguel David Medina Córdoba

Miguel David Medina Córdoba is currently a PhD student in Business Management at the University of Valencia, with extensive experience in legal and business consultancy. His professional career includes advising various public and private institutions, as well as academic work as a university lecturer, having taught subjects such as International Law, Business Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms, Research Methodology, among others. He has also held managerial responsibilities as Research Coordinator at the Technological University of Chocó (Colombia).

He holds a law degree from the Universidad Santo Tomás (Colombia), a Master in International Law (LL.M.) from the University of Georgia (USA) and an MBA from the University of Valencia (Spain). He is currently working on his doctoral thesis in the field of strategy and organisational change in small and medium-sized companies facing global crises.

Professionally, he has worked in organisations such as the Mayor's Office of Bogota (Colombia), the National Land Agency (Colombia), the Centre of Excellence in Marine Sciences - CEMarin (Colombia) and Terreta International (Spain), holding positions of responsibility in areas such as strategy, business development, corporate legal advice, e-commerce and marketing. In addition, he has been co-founder and CEO of a company with international presence.

His areas of academic interest include business strategy, leadership in uncertain contexts, governance, senior management and digital transformation.
