Juana Ferrús Pérez. Graduate in Economics and Business Studies from the University of Valencia and MBA in European Management from the South Bank University of London. She also holds a Master's degree in Business Strategy from the UV and a PhD in Business Management with "cum laude" and "International Doctor" from the UV.

She started her professional career as a marketing executive at the British Technology Group in the UK. Since then, she has worked for different public and private companies in the field of business organization, project management and technology transfer. A member of the College of Economists of Valencia, she joined FISABIO-Public Health (before Centro Superior de Investigación en Salud Pública, CSISP) in 2007, as head of the R&D&I Management Unit, taking up the position of Research Director in 2012. She worked as head of the R&D&I Project Management Area at the FISABIO Foundation until 2019, joining EDEM Escuela de Empresarios as a tenured lecturer and Head of Studies for the Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration for Entrepreneurs. During this time she was also the academic director of the Business Management: Strategy Area at EDEM. In 2023 she joined a Family Office as coordinator of new project development, and currently combines consultancy activities with her work as an economist in the Sub directorate General of Agreements and Concessions of the Directorate General of Economic Management, Contracting and Infrastructures of the Regional Ministry of Health of Valencia (Generalitat Valenciana).

She has collaborated in numerous research projects, and has university and non-university teaching experience, giving courses at the CSISP, the FISABIO Foundation, the Valencia Regional Ministry of Health, the University of Valencia and the EDEM University Centre. She has also directed Final Degree Projects at EDEM and tutored curricular and external internships in various masters and bachelor's degrees at the UV.
