Jorge Villagrasa Guarch currently works as a researcher and full-time lecturer at EDEM-Escuela de Empresarios. He is part of the Department of Business Management, teaching Strategic Management, Customer Needs and Business Management Studies, and is also the academic head of the Final Degree Projects developed by students in the final years of the degrees in Business Administration and Management and Business Engineering and Management. He studied a degree in Economics and a master's degree in Business Strategy at the University of Valencia. In addition, he developed his PhD in the Department of Business Administration and Management at the same institution, analyzing how the characteristics and perceptions of management teams about the performance of their organizations affected their results and their decisions to change.

Jorge has also completed several postgraduate studies at the London School of Economics and the Polytechnic University of Valencia, as well as an executive MBA at EDEM-Escuela de Empresarios. During his education, he received several awards such as the national end-of-degree prize from the Ministry of Education, the prize for university academic excellence from the Generalitat Valenciana, the extraordinary bachelor's and master's degree prize from the University of Valencia, the collaboration grant from the Ministry of Education, the international finance chair prize from Banco Santander, the national research prize from the Banco Sabadell Foundation, the national university teacher training grant from the Ministry of Education, two national mobility grants for excellent junior researchers from the Ministry of Education, and the future leaders prize from the Rafael del Pino Foundation.

Similarly, Jorge has developed his professional career in various institutions such as the University of Connecticut (USA), the University of Antwerp (Belgium), the University of Valencia (Spain) and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain), publishing a total of 10 articles and 10 book chapters, attending +70 international conferences and obtaining the best paper award in 5 of them. He has also been a member of 12 research projects and has organized 2 international conferences (EURAM 2014 and STEP Global Family Business Summit 2023).
