In November, Alejandro Escribá Esteve, director of the Chair of Family Business at the University of Valencia, participated in the Conference on Family Businesses and Territorial Dynamisation, organised by the Chair of Territorial Cohesion and Innovation of the Universitat Jaume I (Castellón). During his speech, he highlighted the economic and social impact of family businesses in the Valencian Community.

The conference addressed how the valorisation of knowledge, the connection with the territory and the social impact are interrelated in the field of family businesses. In addition, the importance of professionalisation and generational change was highlighted as key factors in guaranteeing their long-term sustainability and success.
