Our team at STEER – University of Valencia had the privilege of participating in the organisation of the 6th edition of AINVEF 2025, held in Valencia in a hybrid format. It was a very enriching experience to contribute to this conference, which brought together national and international researchers in family business.
This edition featured 60 participants, 23 presentations and the participation of researchers from 30 Spanish universities, as well as highly relevant international contributions, including the dialogue between Allan Discua Cruz and Alexandra Dawson, and the presentation by Mattias Nordqvist.
We would like to give special thanks to SAFER for trusting us and allowing us to be part of the organisation, and to GAIAS Europa for their collaboration and for welcoming us to their facilities.
In addition, our colleagues presented several papers:
- ‘ESG commitment and family legacy when relationships make the difference’, by María Avenza Ivars and Alejandro Escribá-Esteve.
- ‘The impact of CEO entrenchment and power on family firm legacy: the buffering role of corporate governance structures’, authored by Marta Riera, Eric Clinton, Jorge Villagrassa and Alejandro Escribá-Esteve.
